Fascia and Soffit Cleaning in Stowmarket

This fascia cleaning in Stowmarket was completed as part of a comprehensive exterior clean. The before-and-after photograph shows the visible difference after built-up dirt and weather staining were removed from the white uPVC roofline.

Fascia Cleaning in Stowmarket: The Starting Condition

Before cleaning, dark marks and general soiling were clearly visible across the underside of the roofline, around the soffit ventilation slots and on the external faces of the guttering. These details can make an otherwise sound white uPVC roofline look dull and uneven.

The aim was to clean the complete accessible roofline rather than treating only the most noticeable areas. That meant working methodically along the fascias, soffits, vents and external gutter surfaces so the finished appearance was consistent.

How the Roofline Was Cleaned

PureSeal SynergyClean Pro was applied to help loosen the accumulated dirt. The fascias, soffits and external guttering were then carefully scrubbed using a water-fed pole before being thoroughly rinsed with pure water.

Extra attention was given to the soffit vents, where dirty drips can remain around the slots after the main wash. A microfibre pad fitted to the water-fed pole was used to detail these areas and remove the remaining marks. There were no access difficulties on this job, so all the external roofline cleaning was completed from ground level.

Working with water-fed poles allowed the brush, cleaning solution and rinse water to be controlled from below while still reaching the roofline. The method also made it practical to move from the main roofline to the windows, doors and conservatory surfaces without introducing an unnecessary change of access equipment.

The Before-and-After Result

The comparison photograph records the change clearly. The dark staining visible beneath the guttering was removed, the soffit vent line was detailed and the white uPVC surfaces were left visibly cleaner and brighter. The pure-water rinse completed the process without leaving detergent residue on the cleaned roofline.

Because the conservatory roof, doors, frames, sills and glazing were cleaned during the same visit, the result was not limited to one strip of roofline. The finished surfaces presented a cleaner appearance across the wider exterior of the property.

Gutter Clearance and Roofline Washing Are Different Services

Gutter clearance removes leaves, silt and other material from inside the channels so rainwater has a clear route towards the outlets. Fascia, soffit and external gutter cleaning deals with the visible outer surfaces.
